Step back in time to an era of elegance and culinary prowess at the historic Belton Chalet.

The first of the iconic lodges built by the Great Northern Railroad, the Belton Chalet has served as the original gateway to Glacier National Park for over a century. When it opened its doors in the summer of 1910, the Belton Chalet was viewed as the pinnacle of modern hospitality in the west and welcomed visitors by train from across the country. Known today for its elegant dining experience and culinary prowess, the chalet’s restaurant and tap house offer a gambet of artfully-crafted dishes showcasing locally-sourced ingredients.

Today, we take pride in offering the same unforgettable guest experience as we did the day we first opened our doors. Here at The Belton Chalet, the way it was is the way it truly still is.

We're hosting a murder mystery weekend at the historic Belton Chalet and you're invited!

Join us for three days of mystery, excitement and laughs. Plus, our chef has planned a unique culinary experience to heighten the intrigue!

This all-inclusive event begins the evening you arrive with a cocktail hour and introduction to the games. Once the games begin that night, everyone is a suspect—over the next two evenings of excitement, no one can be trusted! The game comes to an end with a savory brunch and awards ceremony late Sunday morning.

Don't miss this event of the year!
