Glacier Park Collection

Discover a place with history as rich as the surrounding landscape

In 1913, the Great Northern Railway built Glacier Park Lodge and welcomed visitors who disembarked the famous Empire Builder at the East Glacier Park station. Visitors now travel to East Glacier in many ways, but still find the grand historic lodge and the quiet town of East Glacier.

East Glacier has many activities including horseback riding, golf on a historic course and Red Bus Tours. The nearby Two Medicine Valley in Glacier National Park, located only a few minutes from town, is one of Glacier’s best kept secrets with some of the most spectacular hiking in the park. Things to do in Two Medicine also include an interpretive boat tour, boat rentals, small camp store and campground.
