As we bid farewell to yet another remarkable season, we are excited to share the highlights of some of the actions we have taken to enhance our Promise to Place commitment. In doing so, we’ve created memories that go beyond travel and experiences.
The start of a new school year can be a trying time for some families. At the beginning of the school year, our team purchased school supplies and backpacks for East Glacier Park Grade and Babb Elementary schools.
We were delighted to host the Week of Hope event in collaboration with our partners at Flathead Lake Lodge. Our teams hosted half-day rafting trips for children and their families along the Flathead River, and provided transportation to and from their lodging.
Our commitment to being an active and responsible member of the communities we serve extended to diverse initiatives. To support local fundraising efforts, we decorated a float, a Christmas tree, poured beer at Oktoberfest and engaged in various community-driven projects.
To reflect true leadership, the team at Grouse Mountain Lodge signed up with the Whitefish Trails Adopt-A-Trail program. Volunteer teams proudly share the responsibility of maintaining the trail twice a year by lopping intruding branches and clearing drainage areas along the trail.
We directed our efforts towards meaningful donations. Team members were invited to submit a donation request to support local events or groups involving the environment, youth or community initiatives. Team members also collectively and individually volunteered their time and resources to support nonprofits that include Land to Hand, Habitat for Humanity, Highway Cleanup, Toys for Tots and many others doing amazing work in our communities.
In recognition of the vital role East Glacier Volunteer Fire Department plays in the community, we donated equipment crucial to their work to reflect our belief in fostering community and safety.
We are excited to share that this season, we enhanced our collaboration with Glacier Park Conservancy. Together, we are making strides toward securing a more sustainable future for our beloved Glacier National Park. Strides that will ensure the landscapes we explore and operate in remain pristine for future generations. Additionally, we collected more than $25,000 for Flathead Rivers Alliance to demonstrate our support for the preservation of the Flathead River System.
As the season closes and another beckons, our Promise to Place commitment remains steadfast. As we forge ahead, we invite you to be a part of our story — a story of responsible and sustainable travel, experiences that matter and of a future shaped by the positive impact we create together.
We are building a team of passionate people determined to make a difference in the places we love. Every effort counts. Meet more of them here and discover how Promise to Place is the real deal.
